In order to use the Template Builder the first thing you'll need to do is purchase the "myTemplate" from Joomlashack which costs about 40 bucks. More new templates will be supported by JTB in the future as well as some existing Joomlashack templates. Be sure to check the updates section of this site to stay informed. It's a good idea for you to read up on how it works if you haven't done so already.
If you'll be using the template on an existing or vanilla installation of Joomla!, you may want to back up a bit and install the Quicklauncher package. The QuickLauncher is a re-packaged version of the latest stable Joomla! with all preconfigured menus, sections, categories and module styles. It's a good place to start for your first time around while you familiarize yourself with the different settings.
