A bit of installation help, please!

I paid the fee, downloaded what I thought was the program, but I don't see any 'installation' or any help files in it on how to get started. The on-line help refers to a QuickLauncher, which the web site says is coming soon. I'm not really great at all this web publishing stuff, but am concerned that I can't seem to even install the product and 'get started'. I must be missing something in your documentation.

By 'install', do you mean loaded it to my Joomla site? Yes. That seems to work, but I'm not happy with the default colors, etc. When I try to use the builder all I ever get in the preview is a blank page, regardless of how I set things up in the builder.

Also, how do I add a logo to the header on each page?

Definitely doesn't sound typical or desired for that matter. Can you paste your template_config.php values here?
Also, are you using the latest version of Joomla 1.5.x? or is the "Joomla Version" builder setting at least correct?

I also have the same problem. I have installed Joomla ok, then downloaded Joomla Template Builder, then installed the free template design and it worked ok. Now that I want to create my own template I have gone to www.joomlatemplatebuilder.com and created my template but when I click the create button I get taken to the Preview & Download page but it is blank and it says error on page in the bottom left corner of my browser.
What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like you're using an unsupported browser. Are you using Internet Explorer by chance?

The generated template code is licensed under the GPL, fully XHTML/CSS valid, and compatible with all major browsers. For maximum speed and performance for the actual template builder application, we recommended Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome.
